Skip the pre-packaged version and make breakfast sausages (or patties or just simple ground meat) full of that breakfast sausage taste without the unwanted additives and excessive sugar. After making this, I definitely prefer it over any restaurant or diner version hands down!
I separated this spice blend recipe into a separate recipe because while I like using it in sausage, I find it useful to have a separate batch ready for making breakfast country gravy. It really kicks up the flavor to not rely on the sausage itself to flavor the sauce but to add that spice flavor directly into the cashew cream.
Breakfast Sausage Spice Mix
Mix this spice into ground meat to create that breakfast sausage taste! Or mix into a cream sauce to make a delicious breakfast gravy.

Instructions
- (optional) Grind or crush the spices so that they are all evenly fine in texture. This helps evenly spread the spices' flavors when mixing the spice into the meat.
